"Shaped by Air" is the first collaboration between New York-based artist and architect Such Reddy and car maker Lexus. The work is based on the motif of "Lexus Electrified Sport," which symbolizes the next generation of Lexus, and expresses Lexus' commitment to a human-centered, carbon-neutral future and design.

The work is a full-scale reproduction of the Lexus Electrified Sport in metal mesh, surrounded by leaf-like objects made partially from post-consumer recycled materials that are inspired by the shape of the car's face, evoking the car's presence in nature's shimmering surroundings.

The work was exhibited outdoors in Miami with fog and light, but for this exhibition at Intersect, it has been reconstructed as an indoor installation. The white and mirrored walls of the exhibition space, illuminated by light, will give visitors a new sensation of being enveloped in a fantasy.

With the launch of the Lexus Electrified Sport, Lexus continues to take on the challenge of creating vehicles that are in tune with the constantly evolving mobility and lifestyles of its customers around the world. Reddy's installation symbolizes the evolutionary possibilities offered by electrification and expresses Lexus' vision for the future, which is human-centered, carbon-neutral, and focused on craftsmanship and quality.

Lexus will collaborate with Suchi Reddy once again to unveil a new immersive installation at Milan Design Week, the world's largest design event, to be held in Milan, Italy, from April 17-23, 2023.
