At this event, visitors can enjoy artworks exhibited in Shin-Kiba and Yumenoshima as they stroll through the city.
Shinkiba and Yumenoshima are two neighborhoods located in Koto-ku, facing Tokyo Bay. Shinkiba was founded as a lumber yard and has flourished as the center of Japan's lumber industry. Yumenoshima was transformed from a landfill for garbage into a place of recreation and relaxation for Tokyo residents. This art festival is a joint project of these two cities, committed to recycling resources and reusing energy without waste. During the month-long event, visitors can enjoy artworks specially installed in various locations while touring the exhibition sites with a map. The events will feature a total of 23 primarily up-and-coming young artists.
