The collection “Liminal (eyes) Yamagami" is a compilation of 64 photographs taken by photographer Shinpei Yamagami of the sea and waves in his hometown of Kamakura. These perspectives, from which the artist has physically and mentally carved himself, bring an intensity to the photographs that work on the viewer's mind.
This exhibition will feature photographs from his book “Liminal (eyes) Yamagami.” On June 10 (Sat), the first day of the exhibition, a talk session will be held with photographer Shinpei Yamagami and graphic designer Satoru Machiguchi, who designed the book design for “Liminal (eyes) Yamagami" and runs bookshop M, the publisher of the book.
