Shohei Yamamoto "Re: Recover; Donʼt Make Angels Dream Of"

Ritsuki Fujisaki Gallery
Finished

Artists

Shohei Yamamoto
Shohei Yamamoto previously worked with abstract concepts such as symbols, images, representations, and the repetition of history through the medium of painting. However, from this time onwards, the artist incorporated more social and concrete themes, including cultural imperialism, post-war Japanese cultural history in art history, and masochistic perspectives on history. There will also be Yamamoto's first sculptural works on display at this exhibition.
