Shoji Ueda, Ken Domon
Shoji Ueda (1913-2000) and Ken Domon (1909-1990) are two of the most significant Japanese photographers of the 20th century, and have often been compared as artists with contrasting personalities. However, the two photographers have often been in contact during their long careers, and their photographic aesthetics bear many similarities.
