Shunichi Takao + Yuto Nemoto Exhibition

Finished

Artists

Shunichi Takao, Yuto Nemoto
This exhibition is an experiment in the human form and plaster as a material by two sculptors of different generations. The two artists, both of whom create human figures using plastic sculpture, the basic and traditional technique in sculpture, were asked to exhibit plaster. Shunichi Takao will exhibit a bronze plaster mold, and Yuto Nemoto will show a new work made of plaster scraps discarded in the process of making ceramics. Through plaster, a material rarely seen as a work of art, this exhibition will provide an opportunity to consider what the human form means to sculptors.
