This exhibition introduces still life paintings by the two artists, who paint in different styles.
Shusaku Miyawaki, a courtroom painter for Nippon Television Network Corporation, has spent 70 to 100 hours looking at and painting his subjects, sealing the moment in his paintings, which are a mixture of lively and wilted flowers.
Mari Kawai creates still-life maquettes (models) and works by looking at the shapes of the maquettes.
