The exhibition consists of about 30 works, including the video installation “Bellybutton and Breathing," the “Tie" series, and pastel works, and will offer a comprehensive view of the artist's creative activities to date. The works, created practically with an interest in otherness, strongly affect the viewer's perception and question where the ego resides and the boundary between subject and object.
This exhibition consists of a series that Soh Souen has been working on since his student days, a series that he has been working on in recent years, and an installation of a project that he created during his residency at the Fukuoka Asian Art Museum last fall.
