The Yokosuka Museum of Art holds four exhibitions each year of works from its collection. The works being shown in this exhibition include modern and contemporary Japanese art, together with works by artists with special connections to Yokosuka.

To create a new form of the valley-shaped topographical community, the museum will exhibit the works of artists invited to the artist village "Hiraku" in Taura, and introduce the local revitalization activities through art in Yokosuka City.
