Civic Creative Base Tokyo (CCBT) is pleased to present "XR Art Theater 'Shinigami,'" a program within the "Tokyo Smart Culture Project," a project to digitize cultural resources and provide various forms of viewing experiences.
The "XR Art Theater," a new performance environment for arts and culture that connects real and virtual spaces, was created as a pilot model with young creators of "Shinigami," a classic rakugo storytelling masterpiece, in order to explore its unique expression. By wearing a head-mounted display, the audience can experience virtual spaces inspired by Ukiyo-e and Byobu-e.
