Taishi Hirokawa's photo exhibition showcases the artist's career which started as a photographer in 1974, and contu¥inued with various media including fashion, advertising, commercials, and film photography. For the first time, this exhibition displays together Hirokawa's ongoing observations of the landscapes impacted by the Great East Japan Earthquake and the portraits of affected families from 2011 to the present. It provides insight into the evolving recovery and transformation of both landscapes and lives profoundly affected by the earthquake's force of nature.
