Takaharu Hori
The work of ceramic artist Takaharu Hori is inspired by the structure and form of insects. Hori has made it his life's work to raise insects, and he deforms and expresses the forms of insects he discovers through observation.
In this exhibition, visitors can enjoy works on three themes: "abstract works with a sense of life" that further abstract the forms, "works that imagine the evolution of insects," and "vessels that make use of the structure of insects." The title of the solo exhibition, "Rebooting," also reflects Hori's new determination.
