This is the first solo exhibition in Japan by ceramic artist Takahiro Koga since his expansion into the United States. Koga focuses on a concept called "Neo Wabi-Sabi," which encapsulates both the simplicity of traditional Japanese culture and the vibrancy of contemporary culture, such as flashy Kabuki and cute anime. He appreciates not only the humble and simple aspects of Japanese culture but also the lively and colorful elements. His exhibition will showcase approximately 150 pieces, including his signature beckoning cats, owls, a new series featuring koi fish, and classic sake vessels.
