Takero Kano
Takero Kano, born in 1975 in Gunma, is a painter known for exploring the boundaries between plants and humans through abstract paintings using oil paints. Currently based in Tokyo, Kano exhibits internationally and engages in live painting events. Kano's artistic journey began about six years ago with field sketches of local nature, resulting in a series of over 470, "Field Sketch Modified," mainly focused on trees. Kano's canvas works, inspired by individual and structuralist perspectives, reflect on the relationship between Kano and nature. The exhibition features the extensive "Field Sketch Modified" on the first floor and canvas works on the underground floor, providing a comprehensive view of Kano's artistic world.
