Takeru Amano
Takeru Amano creates work using his unique technique "newart," which fuses pop art and classical elements. Known for his simple brushwork and vibrant colors, Amano has garnered a substantial international following in cities such as Paris, London, New York, and Hong Kong.

In this exhibition, approximately 40 flat works will be displayed, primarily focusing on new drawings that instantly and freely express the artist's emotions and thoughts. In his new work, Amano depicts his iconic motif, the goddess of love and beauty, "Venus," as a symbol of "the joys of summer," set against landscapes of sunlit and flower-filled scenes and mountain vistas. The Venus portrayed in these works is confident, unique, yet elegant, embodying the diversity and magnificence of women.

In the center of the venue, special exhibits will include Arita porcelain personally painted by the artist for this exhibition, as well as a nearly 2-meter-tall 3D VENUS sculpture that was exclusively displayed for four days this spring at the entrance of Laforet Harajuku. Enjoy the world of Takeru Amano's artworks throughout the entire exhibition space.
