This exhibition will feature work photographed in the summer at peach orchards in the northern region of Fukushima Prefecture (Fukushima City, Date City, Kuwari Town, and Kunimi Town). This will be the second exhibition following the last one (June 2022) in which the peach orchards were photographed in spring.
Yoneda began filming in August 2011, after the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant. Even though the land on which the people stand and the sound of the place names have been rewritten, where is the "safe haven" that no one can take away from them? This question is echoed in "Rest in Peach."
