MON is pleased to present the TEKITONA FUKURO exhibition. This exhibition is centred on the PE FUKURO collection by craft brand Pull Push Products. and explores the possibilities of FUKURO, such as FUKURO that is a storage product, FUKURO that can be used for any purpose and FUKURO that looks like an objet d'art.
PE is a series of products made from polyethylene film, which is used for rubbish bags. It is characterised by its unique feel and expression, such as the natural shrinkage, wrinkles and unevenness created by laminating and heat-welding the film. While industrial materials are used, the craft-like production method, in which each piece is formed by hand, creates a texture that differs from that of industrial products. In addition to the unique texture and expression, the gloss and colouration characteristic of plastic materials and the wide range of colours add to the appeal of the series.
