In the mid-20th century, photographers captured daily life scenes freely and expressed themselves without restraint. Moved by the power of photography, they diligently pressed the shutter, capturing various emotions such as joy, hope, and sometimes sorrow or anguish without distorting them in their works. Their photography lacked flashy or imposing elements; instead, it was simple, and pure, and produced numerous street photos that resonated with people's emotions straightforwardly and honestly.

In the 3rd Ota Koshin Collection Exhibition, to showcase a wide range of works by various artists, the exhibition will be divided into two halves over four weeks, with the display pieces being exchanged. The first half will feature a total of 62 works, focusing on renowned French photographers such as Robert Doisneau's "Le Baiser de l'Hotel de Ville," Edouard Boubat's "Petite fille aux feuilles mortes," and Henri Cartier-Bresson's "Hyeres, France." The second half will be filled with 53 works by the master of Asian street photography, Fan Ho, certified by the Fan Ho Foundation and the Hong Kong Blue Lotus Gallery.
