This exhibition commemorates the opening of the San-no-maru Shōzōkan, which will celebrate its 30th anniversary this November, as the "Imperial Household Museum San-no-maru Shōzōkan" in a new guise in 2025.

The exhibition, which will be held over about eight months, will be divided into four phases, with the theme of "Imperial Household Miyabi," and will display a wide variety of items from the museum's representative collections. These are all precious objects that have been handed down from generation to generation in the Imperial Household.

Period 1: "National Treasures in the San-no-maru Shōzōkan" November 3 (Fri, holiday) - December 24 (Sun)
Period 2: "Techniques and Beauties of the Modern Imperial Household" January 4 (Thu) - March 3 (Sun), 2024
Period 3: "Objects that Decorated the Imperial Palace in Modern Times" March 12 (Tue) - May 12 (Sun), 2024
Period 4: "Masterpieces from the San-no-maru Shōzōkan" May 21 (Tue) - June 23 (Sun)
