An exciting exhibition from Arts University Bournemouth (AUB) is opening in the Urasando Garden Gallery, 裏参道ガーデン,Tokyo, from Friday 22 to Monday 25 November 2024.

‘The Art of Creative Careers: a Peek Inside’ is a four-day event hosted by eight alumni and current students who have studied a variety of subjects at AUB including Illustration, Fine Art, Make-up for Media and Performance, Animation, and Textiles.

Joining the alumni and students is AUB’s Senior International Officer for Japan, Haruyo Nelien, who said, “We have students and alumni from Japan, Korea, and Wales exhibiting, all of whom have studied at AUB in the UK making it a very international event.

“With these brilliant artists, we’re able to showcase the very best of British art and design in higher education and we can also demonstrate the career opportunities within the creative industries.”

The four-day event will see a series of interactive creative sessions, demonstrations and talks as well as an exhibition of graduate work including a film and animation showcase.

Haruyo adds, “This is a great event for anyone interested in studying a creative arts subject abroad, there will also be the chance to attend presentations and talks about AUB and learn more about British creative education and graduate opportunities.”
