The swordsmith Oyama Ju Muneshige, associated with Higashihiroshima, was active in Oyama during the mid to late Muromachi period. The Oyama forge is said to have continued for eight generations. This exhibition will showcase a collection of fifteen verified swords, along with notable swords from Hiroshima and works by contemporary swordsmiths active in Hiroshima.
