This exhibition features a selection of masterpieces from the Imperial Household Agency's Sannomaru Shōzōkan collection, including a folding screen from the Showa period and lovely bonbonnieres made as souvenirs for various celebrations, work by popular Edo period painter Jakuchu Ito, work related to Kiyomori and Shigemori Taira and their children, work from the Asano family, the lords of the Hiroshima domain, as well as work by contemporary artists including Kibo Kodama, Shisui Rokkaku, Ikuo Hirayama.

In addition, the Hiroshima Prefectural Museum of Art will also present approximately 80 works (including changing exhibits) from its collection related to this exhibition, showing the world of beauty that connects the Imperial Family and Hiroshima.
