Artists

Thibaut Chataigner
Thibaut Chataigner, an engineer-turned-photographer, explores the transformative power of light in his work, treating it as a primordial element akin to fire, water, earth, and air. Following the sudden loss of hearing in his right ear, Chataigner embarked on a profound personal and artistic journey, discovering photography “as a medium where the strictness of frame and reality paradoxically allows immense freedom.”
“Ephemerid” unfolds over three days—its emergence, existence, and disappearance—presenting a delicate, fleeting dialogue between works exhibited for the first time. Thibaut Chataigner crafts a unique, mystical aesthetic by capturing light reflected through objects in the lens, producing soft blue-green tones and gentle contrasts that immerse viewers in an introspective, poetic world energized by invisible forces.
