Forests, covering 70% of Japan's land, are facing degradation due to the lack of sustainable management of artificial forests planted after World War II. This exhibition aims to visualize the state of Japan's forests and the challenges it faces. Additionally, the exhibition will introduce various designs aimed at reconnecting the fragmented mountains and cities from a new perspective.
Furthermore, in Slit Park, which connects the gallery with the second venue, the New Nisshin Building 1F, a barrel sauna made from domestically sourced wood will be installed. In addition to experiencing the space, assembly workshops will be conducted.
