"Tomorrow Field 2024 Fall" is a food and art festival

After the food and art festivals "Echo" in 2022 and 2023, this event will now be held twice a year, divided into autumn and spring as "Tomorrow Field."

"Tomorrow Field 2024 Fall" will feature the following locations: "Taiza Studio," an experimental hub for Tomorrow's activities, creating sustainable living spaces using local building methods and materials combined with modern ideas and techniques; "Sei Taiza," a former textile factory transformed into Taiza’s first art gallery; "Taiza Residence," an art living space centered on food, co-produced by AAWAA and Tomorrow; and "Field of Stars," a site for the creation of regenerative art, crafts, and architectural works led by artist Teresita Fernandez and woodworker Shuji Nakagawa.

Additionally, from Thursday, October 31 to Sunday, November 10, 2024, Sei Kyoto in Kyoto will host a special exhibition titled "Remedy." Sei Kyoto, designed by architect Ryue Nishizawa in collaboration with craftsmen to respect the tradition of Kyoto machiya, serves as Tomorrow's headquarters and residence. The exhibition will feature wood boat sculptures inspired by ancient views of life and death by woodworker Shūji Nakagawa, ceramics by Akihito Shinriki using plants that can serve as both herbs and glazes and photographs taken in Taiza by photographer Rika Noguchi. Simultaneously, the shop and workshop Kamisoe in Kyoto’s Nishijin area will host a dual exhibition by karakami artist Ko Kado and glass artist Satoshi Sato.
