Tomoya Fujii + Hideyuki Shimauchi "Ghost Dilemma"

229 Gallery
Finished

Artists

Tomoya Fujii, Hideyuki Shimauchi
This exhibition is organized by Tomoya Fujii, who has recently been creating images through a vacuum system by covering ready-made sculptural objects with rubber, and Hideyuki Shimauchi, who bleaches and erases symbolic images that drift through society, such as discarded printed matter and advertisements on the streets and the Internet. The two artists, who take seemingly contradictory approaches to images, share a common awareness of the "blockage of the times," and will develop their positions in the underground space. An opening reception will be held on April 7.
