Gesshoji, beneath Matsue Castle, is the burial site of the Matsue Matsudaira clan's daimyos. Founded in 1664, it’s a national historic site with grand tombs and valuable treasures. The 360th-anniversary exhibition highlights these aspects and the temple’s history.
