Gallery Stan is a contemporary art gallery leading the cutting-edge art scene in Korea. With locations in both Seoul and New York, Gallery Stan has curated this exhibition to showcase and sell works by five emerging Korean artists (S, N5BRA, Sambypen, Mawz, Bazbon, and Kim Doongji).
These participating artists, while possessing exceptional expressive abilities, also exhibit a unique "twisted" quality that conveys a sense of irrationality or distortion. They are, in a way, mavericks in the Korean art world. We invite you to experience their distinctive and unconventional expressions that stand out even in Korea's avant-garde art scene.
To coincide with the opening of this exhibition, we are also planning events featuring various artists who lead the cultural scene in Korea, as well as Japanese artists who share an affinity with them.
