Unnoticed Movements focuses on Karimoku Furniture's extensive research on seating comfort. It will showcase the results of a collaborative project between Karimoku Furniture and two designers aiming to reimagine sitting as a dynamic activity. The exhibition will feature observations of people of various ages sitting, resulting in artworks that explore the dynamics of sitting. Additionally, it will introduce Karimoku Furniture's long-standing "Sitting Comfort Research," led by experts in cognitive design and product design. The exhibition aims to prompt a reconsideration of the interface between our bodies and furniture in the modern era, highlighting the technology embedded in Karimoku's chairs to adapt to our bodies' continuous movement.
