The Vision of Contemporary Art, or VOCA, is an annual exhibition of contemporary art in which curators, researchers, and others from museums around Japan are asked to nominate young artists under the age of 40, who are then invited to exhibit new two-dimensional works.

The VOCA Exhibition, now in its 30th year, has been held annually since 1994 to support promising young artists in the field of two-dimensional art who can make their mark on the international art scene. To date, a total of 1013 artists (groups) have participated in the exhibition, many of whom have made great strides in their careers. This year, the exhibition will once again introduce a wide variety of works that pursue the possibilities of "two-dimensional" art.
