Weaving a Story in Harmony

Zuiun-an
Finished

Artists

Daijiro Hamada, Shota Matsui, Soshi Nakamura
The exhibition will be held at Zuiun-an, a 100-year-old two-story wooden house and storehouse, by three artists who are influenced by and think about Japanese culture and sensibility, but who express themselves in different ways through painting, sculpture, and video installations. The “harmony” of their works and the unique space of the Japanese house will allow each audience to imagine “a story”. The exhibition also aims to provide an opportunity to reconsider the aesthetics, values, and cultural perspectives unique to Japan through the “harmony” of sharing the stories imagined by the participating artists and curators as well as by the audience.
