Tokyo, Japan – May 2025 – Zero Gallery is pleased to announce What Is the First Image You Remember, a group exhibition featuring 16 artists selected through the @zrfdbck open call. This exhibition invites visitors to explore how early visual memories continue to shape our perceptions and creative practices.
In What Is the First Image You Remember, artists revisit the earliest visual memories that have stayed with them — fragments of perception, first impressions, and personal landscapes where seeing and remembering intersect.
Each work offers a glimpse into how these early moments continue to resonate through creative expression, presenting a diverse range of reflections on the visual roots of memory.
