The "White Cartoon, Black Cartoon" exhibition, organized by Tetsuya Miyata, traces its roots back to Shuzo Takiguchi's article and Taro Okamoto's "Black Manga" in 1956. Despite a historical connection, the divergence between manga and painting has grown over time. Now, 68 years later, Miyata revisits this theme with 10 artists, aiming to dissect it through their works.
