William Morris
William Morris (1834-1896), a renowned artist, poet, thinker, and 19th-century social activist, spearheaded the Arts and Crafts Movement in Britain. This exhibition highlights the locations central to Morris' life, education, labor, and social connections, charting Morris's artistic evolution from childhood to later life. It features about 100 artifacts, including wallpapers, textiles, books, and furniture crafted by Morris and Morris' colleagues, complemented by approximately 20 photographs capturing Morris' affiliated structures and the scenic British landscapes.
