Artists

Witness creates artworks by deconstructing and reconstructing motifs once drawn, exploring new perspectives and balances.

Utilizing masking tape, which is considered Witness's signature, the artist experiments with shifts and distortions. They describe this experiment as "contradictions and discrepancies are always present in life. They exist between countries, between people, and between values, and can be seen as a good chaos that produces discoveries. It's the intersection of possibilities in life." This also implies nuances such as "the sun's light going straight" or "in music, it's like the rhythm's beats, the intervals. In DJing, it's scratches, cut-ins."

In this exhibition, Witness will primarily showcase and sell works based on photos of flowers and plants taken by the artist. Additionally, on April 13th during the exhibition, there will be a pop-up event featuring Coffee County Tokyo, a coffee shop based in Fukuoka and Tokyo, and on April 20th, there will be another pop-up event featuring flower designer Pioen Flora selling flower arrangements along with Witness's vases. On April 12th, a snack Center will open as a preview.
