Ryohei Koiso, Miwa Yanagi, Iwao Uchida, Kazu Wakita, Kinosuke Ebihara, Tomoko Sawada et al.
The "working person" has been a major theme in art, and many works have been created that have touched our hearts. This exhibition introduces various attempts by artists to express "working people" from the end of the war to the present day. The largest work of Ryohei Koiso's career, "Working People" (194.0 cm x 419.0 cm), which was exhibited in 1953, will be shown for the first time in five years.

Through the images of working people, sometimes poignant and sometimes humorous, reflecting the artist's interests and social conditions, this exhibition reexamines the question, "What does it mean to work?
