Yamagata Biennale 2022 is a festival seeking connection in every context through the aid of art and design. Taking the theme “transcending the chaos of life and connecting to it,” this event creates a space in Yamagata Prefecture where visitors can find connection and move towards new relationships with nature as acts of healing in this fractured world.
