Yasufumi Oyama
Photographer Yasufumi Oyama has made a name for himself with client work in music and fashion magazines. He made his debut as an artist at the 'Art in Tokyo YNK' exhibition held at Tokyo Square Garden from November last year to January this year. Having received the Special Jury Prize at the 27th Taro Award, Koyama is an artist whose future activities are highly anticipated. This exhibition will primarily showcase a series of works titled "Partition Colors," which were created as prototypes for his ongoing series "Ignorance."

"Partition Colors" is an experimental series that focuses on the multilayered colors formed by cutting, pasting, overlapping, and blurring various segments of the diverse cityscape of Tokyo. The work highlights the grotesque yet beautiful aspects of the city, capturing the overwhelming number of signs, the chaotic jumble of shops, and the fluid crowds of people.

As urban redevelopment progresses, the artist casts a unique light on the familiar gray world of commercial facilities and franchise buildings.
