The creators, driven by an indescribable longing and admiration for something beyond themselves, passionately create to capture that elusive "something." This can be seen as an expression of faith, a fundamental aspect of religion. At times, works that give off a folkloric impression serve as enduring testimonies to deeply rooted sentiments. This exhibition aims to shed light on approximately 120 paintings and sculptures that have been overlooked and not fully appreciated according to the standards of modernism. Simultaneously, it reevaluates works that have already been acknowledged, using a new, so to speak, "spiritual standard," aiming to rediscover the rich power they possess.
