Yo Igarashi
Yo Igarashi's debut solo exhibition challenges the functional aspects of photography and the passage of time. Through prints and innovative combinations of slide projectors and three-dimensional elements, Igarashi explores the relationships between the present and the past, self and others, and the inherent nature of photography, which simultaneously conceals and reveals the constant state of change. The artist will display a composite of fixed-point photographs capturing everyday, private scenes designed to evoke a sense of discomfort within familiar landscapes. The exhibition delves into the "ethics of seeing," examining the photographer's self-questioning through the act of taking and processing photographs.
