The Yokohama Children's Art Exhibition, an annual summer event, is a historic exhibition that began in 1965, the year after the opening of the Yokohama Civic Gallery. The exhibition has continued for more than 50 years, with the importance of nurturing children's free ideas and rich expression and supporting their healthy growth.
The exhibition is now accepting applications for children's paintings to be displayed in the exhibition. This year's theme is "Summer" and all entries will be displayed without judging. At the venue, visitors can also enjoy related events such as a small exhibition for children featuring works from the Yokohama Civic Gallery collection and a participatory corner where everyone can create together.
