Yoshio Yoshimura
Yoshio Yoshimura, born in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 1950, first came to prominence in 2007. Yoshimura's work exhibited at the "Roppongi Crossing 2007" exhibition (Mori Art Museum, Tokyo) attracted a great deal of attention, and at the age of 57, he suddenly became a darling of the contemporary art scene. This retrospective exhibition will present a complete picture of Yoshimura Yoshio, including his early monotone prints and drawings, his later colorful floral works, and the self-portraits he continued to paint throughout his life.
