Yozo Hamaguchi
Yozo Hamaguchi (1909-2000), a prominent 20th-century artist, pioneered the color mezzotint technique, producing artwork characterized by soft depth and tranquil color expression. Mezzotint, relatively unfamiliar in Japan, captivates with its distinct charm. This exhibition featuring Hamaguchi's works also showcases novels inspired by mezzotint.
