Yuka Shiobara, Yuka Ishii
A two-person exhibition by Yuka Shiobara (b. 1985) and Yuka Ishii (b. 1995). Shiobara, who makes her individuality invisible by repeatedly using features of famous paintings in her own works, and Ishii, who makes her individuality visible by working in the opposite direction, have in their work motifs and painting styles that at first glance seem to have been painted over in the past in famous paintings and the work of hobbyists.
