Yukie Yasui, Riwa Fujiwara
The exhibition is a collaboration between Yukie Yasui, based in New York, and Riwa Fujiwara, based in Tokyo. Although they live far apart, these longtime friends communicate their views on daily life through artistic expression. Yasui captures the quiet, beautiful moments of nature that exist in the city and weaves them into an expression through photographs, videos, and drawings. Fujiwara, on the other hand, was born and raised in Kichijoji culture, and Fujiwara's yon-koma manga (four-framed comic strips) and colorful illustrations capture the heartwarming happiness the artist found there.
