Yumeji Takehisa
The poet-painter Yumeji Takehisa (1884-1934) created numerous books for children, including picture books and children's books. This exhibition celebrates the 100th anniversary of Dontaku Picture Books' publication, showcasing Yumeji's writings for children and books featuring Yumeji's designs. The display will also include other works not authored by Yumeji but featuring the designs by Yumeji, along with paintings depicting children.
