Spiral Garden proposes the uplifting experience of art in everyday life through easy-to-implement daily art. We will be showcasing works by Fukuoka-based sculptor Yuto Yamazaki and Japanese painter Nana Kawashima, winner of the Daily Art Award at SICF24*.

Yuto Yamazaki creates sculptures that mainly use plants as a motif. By incorporating bold, undulating stems carved from a single piece of wood and deliberately connecting the leaves and flowers, his sculptures have a mysterious beauty that exudes vitality, like a grafted plant.

Nana Kawashima uses Japanese art materials to depict garden landscapes and the connections between flowers and plants. In recent years, she has produced paintings that find a connection between these and the stars and the universe. Her works have a comfortable, floating feel, like the stars floating in the air.

This exhibition will feature small pieces that are easy to display in your room, as well as large pieces that will be on public display for the first time. Enjoy your encounter with art, just like strolling through a garden.
