Yasuka Goto
Yasuka Goto, a resident of Hiroshima, presents a solo exhibition as the 3rd Artist Invitation Project at iti Setouchi. Goto is renowned for an in-depth exploration of personal histories and the memories associated with various places, including Goto's grandfather's and great-uncle's wartime experiences. Goto is known for dramatic style of painting on large canvases. This exhibition highlights the artist's recent works inspired by the puppet theater art of Bunraku.
