Masayuki Inoue
This exhibition will take place in commemoration of the retirement of Masayuki Inoue from Tama Art University. Inoue was born in Kobe in 1957. After completing the master's course at Tama Art University, he began creating three-dimensional works using ceramics in the 1980s and has exhibited his works at exhibitions in Japan and abroad. In 2017, he won the Grand Prize at the 24th Japan Ceramic Art Exhibition.

Inoue is one of Japan's leading artists in the field of ceramics. Inoue has been teaching at Tama Art University, his alma mater, since 1998, and will be retiring next spring.

Additionally, in June, a retrospective exhibition will be held at the Ibaraki Prefectural Museum of Ceramic Art, featuring approximately 65 works from his early years as a student to his latest works.
