Ex-Tokion editor Ken Miller published "Shoot: Photography of the Moment" (Rizzoli New York) in 2009. A string of commemorative events are currently being held all over the world to mark its publication - at New York's New Museum on September 17th, the Tate Modern in London on October 9th, and Amsterdam's FOAM Museum on October 13th. As part of this series, Tokyo's Parco Factory is hosting this exhibition as part of a program of events to celebrate its own 40th anniversary.
On display are more than 200 documentary works selected from the "Shoot" book by 26 photographers both established and emerging, as well as another 60 works that are not included in the book.
